True, but nobody listens to that really, because XAT has no way of telling your real age.
It’s just a precautionary thing, to warn kids that there may be mature content. That doesn’t apply to my chat though, because I make sure that there won’t be mature content.

I agree with princess_moomoo. I`m 8 and i go on xat allllllllllll the time. It`s Misty btw. You may usally see me at the Fantage Zone. But seriously!!!!!! Ive even seen a 6 year old a here so what? You may be thinking that drunk people on xat swear, but seriously! Most people don`t even care!!!!!!!

Interesting, but does anyone follow that rule? Hmm…. No. Moomoo is right. There’s no way they can tell. It’s not like they will stalk you and go to your house, then ask “What’s your age?” Or whatever. Even if you told them or somehow they knew, it’s not like you’re going to go to jail. When you are editing a page (this can only be done with pages, not posts), find the Page Attributes box, and under Template, select “Full-width, no sidebar”. I don’t know if this feature is available for all themes though.

If you were banned, then you did do something wrong. My mods are all truthful and I trust them.

You will get kicked first to stop, my mods won’t ban right away. It’s just annoying and spams the chat, and it disturbs other people that are trying to talk.

It’s just annoying, but it doesn’t cause any harm. Everyone knows they are a fake.

The type of posing I mean is the poser copies and pastes the name of someone on the xat and gets the exact same profile picture as them then it’s really hard to tell which person there is, unless you added them. Others like ‘pinkstardust’ or ‘civic_princess’ are easy to identify as posers.

Yeah… but it’s pointless, because if they pose as a guest on the XAT, they can’t do anything nor do they have any power, since they don’t have a mod status.
If they pose as a mod/owner, it’s obvious, because they don’t have the colored symbol.
Posers really can’t do anything as long as there is someone on the chat to point out they are posing.

No, you should have been banned for only that amount of time. If the mod types in a 0 for the time banned, then that’s forever.

I have it, and it seems like it’s getting outdated, the built in game almost got deactivated, and once it just froze.

How do you make a custom background?

On your XAT, click on Edit Your Chat and go to the Change Background tab.
There, you can type in the link of an image. Note, you can only type a link from Photobucket. A link from Google won’t work.

All you admins are really strict, honestly. I logged on one time and I get banned for saying ‘hi’ or greeting myself. This chatroom would’ve been much funner if you guys didn’t have only admins on. I messaged each one of the admins asking why they have me banned for doing nothing wrong, and they chose to ignore me. If you guys can’t maintain your banning on new players or newcommers, then what’s the point on having a chatroom at all. I am totally concerned on how you guys treated me. Because you were the top people on this? Yes? Well I need you guys to stop. I thought you were all friendly until this happening. And you guys are even talking about getting Pinkstardusts password? What kind of people are you if you cannot follow your own rules yourself?

People report mods ALL the time. When I look at the report, it says that “i didn’t do anything wrong! why was i banned?” then I look at the chat transcript, and I see them cussing FULL OUT.
My mods were hand picked, they would NEVER do what you just described. Perhaps you did something bad earlier, and they are banning you for that.
I have learned to ignore all moderator reports, they are all lies.
Talking about psd’s pass is not against the rules, though I agree that it’s so stupid, because nobody but her and her friends know her pass.
Please do not blame us for being a bad chat just because of your actions.

Hi im on your xat everyday and i love it.
The only complaint i have is that there is trollers at night *~* Sunny says to ignore them but how when there cussing?!
They cuss and we screenshot and show a mod and they say “oh well,that was last night”._.
its not cool nor fair.

Okay so heres my problem july169 was posing as me on xat. נυℓу_σя_вυввℓєz_ιѕ_єρι¢_σя_кυмιкσ_куυηg <—- my name and they banned me. She was full on screaming with caps and i was just saying i had proof in lowercase. So heres my proof. I own a blog with garfie (but she said that garfie is her friend). Lier….. I own a blog and on the blog my proof is there.( She said she had a blog to yet it was the wrong one ) Ask Garfie/June to see who is the real one. Im tired of this….

Just because she has the “july” in her name doesn’t mean she is posing as you. And, she could be friends with “garfie” too, that also does not mean she’s posing as you.
Besides, we do not have a punishment for posing as another USER, as stated on the full Rules and Guidelines page. It is only if people pose as a mod/owner will they be banned.
You were banned for an hour, according to sunny, because you were screaming your head off in caps lock and causing a ruckus for no reason.
Posers cause no harm, as long as they don’t exploit the trust of the person they are posing as.
Regardless of all of this, it was only an hour ban.

I am going to tell you a little something I’ve learned about tablets/xat. It may say….hmm…” Download Complete” on a tablet if you download from a computer link, you know like when you go on a website instead of an appstore on a tablet? Well I tried to download Adobe Flash. It said it’s little, ” download complete” at the bottom of the screen, but I never had Adobe Flash. So those tablet users, downloading these things on mobile devices isn’t worth it. It just cloggs your documents with junk that isn’t even going to let you use the chat,NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU TRY!

Hi, I have read the rules of the chat and how long you get banned for. What I’ve noticed is whenever SunDays bans, she always bans for 100 hours. She never follows the guidelines.

Every time someone has reported her, she has had a valid reason. Most likely, your friend did things other than spamming. Sunny does not ban for stupid reasons like that. Your friend was probably being rude in PC or something.

I have been on well over 2 times today. Just because you don’t see my name doesn’t mean I am not on. I am sometimes on stealth mode, and sometimes on another computer to make sure everything is ok.
I am getting really annoyed with complainers like you, saying that I don’t have enough mods, my mods suck, I never come on enough, etc. In case you haven’t noticed, I have made LOTS of efforts to make this chat safer.

I just wanted to say that everyone is abusing the bot’s powers and requesting for codebans, snakebans, slotbans and codeban and some people don’t know how to get out of it and try to re log in twice and it doesen’t work acuse the bot doesen’t always unban them. I enabled snakeban/code ban for entertainment, but it seems that everyone finds it annoying. I will disable it for members then, and limit it to moderators only, since I have heard it is getting annoying.

Well first of all, the people on the chat don’t represent this blog, we do.
There are rude people on XAT occasionally, though I’ve gotta say that we have a whole lot less than other chats, because of our strict rules.
If you were offended by the people on the chat, sorry! You can still enjoy the rest of the blog without the chat.

I think their should be some banning for people saying STUF and other acronyms for swearing. People are getting around the cussing by saying that, and the bot doesn’t recognize it as cussing.

It’s because I removed it, due to many complaints. stfu is an acronym that contains a swear word and is very rude, but I will just have to let it slide, because people got really annoyed that an acronym got banned.

Hi MooMoo/Angela! I’m a huge fan! I just wanted to let you know what some people have been doing on xat so they can cuss/spam/break rules without the bot banning them. There are 2 things they do. The first thing they do go like this !(cuss word) and then the bot doesn’t recognize it as cussing. Also, they go to the ‘Jail’ section to chat and cuss without the bot banning them.Thought I’d let you know because I know you dislike cussing on the chat box. 🙂

Hey again, nikki here. Well I know that posing as another user besides owner or mod is not harmful, but boy, is it annoying. A few weeks ago about five people were posing as me and saying that they were me. Even ashla couldn’t tell who’s who. I am pretty glad that posing as another user for everyone is now on the list. I just have 1 question. Let’s say that I am the real rainbow and someone else was the poser. What if a mod or owner comes and kicks me instead of the poser? Also, they wouldn’t recognize me because i’m not registered so I don’t have an ID. Sorry if this is long but… help!

If you check the full rules page, it’s been updated a couple times. The pose ban has been extended to include users as well as mods/owners.

Haha, well i know 1 mistake i’ll never do again. Once, ashla finished a “0.95” hour codeban/snakeban whatever, and I was like, “How do you only do a 0.95 hour codeban but not a 1 hour codeban?” At that time, I didn’t know that when you said “codeban” and then “0” together, you would be banned forever. So, sadly, villebot banned me forever from fantageville xat. Everyone was like uh oh and help her!!! I kinda had tears in my eyes. Ashla tried to un-ban me, but it didn’t work, so she did something with villebot and half an hour later I was un-banned. She told me never to do that again and that I was lucky. Boy, I sure was. 🙂

Dear Mooomoo and Angela.
On you’re chat box, some people cuss and just leave spaces between their letters. WE can see it’s a cuss but the BOT can’t. When this happens, the mods are not always around and it’s just us and the bot. The bot doesn’t kick or do anything. He just sits there and watches them. Is there maybe a way to program it to kick that kind of cussing?

Ok you know how you said before that Amanda C*** (hiding her last name because I don’t want to be responsible for privacy issues) isn’t mustache pandas? She is. I found one of her comments, and that’s what she put as her email. There is no doubt that the person in these screenshots (http://prntscr.com/2t34k6) is her.
I can confirm that you really are units4 and not MP posing as someone, so ok.
However, your friend commented 5 minutes after your comment, with the same exact IP address. I still do not have any proof that this friend of yours exists. I don’t know why you would be helping mustache pandas, maybe she has bribed you into helping her.
Please tell your friend to comment from her OWN house, so the IP address is different.
I must have proof that this friend really does exist, or I will not unban her. All evidence points towards that the girl Angela banned forever this morning really was MP.

Why would you put your own name as mustache panda when commenting? That makes no sense.
Your IP address matches units4’s exactly, and is completely different from the real mustache pandas, so I can at least conclude that you aren’t her.
However, this entire scenario looks really suspicious.
1. If you were a newbie, how did you know how to make those fancy letters in your name? How did you even know how to change it?
2. Why would you give in to the demands of someone you don’t even know?
3. Why would mustache pandas want to ban you, a newbie? How could she even know you? And how does getting you banned benefit her?

It’s happened 2 more times. It feels like i’m being targeted. All 3 times, the person has said the same thing but they all had different names, but they still relate. Here are all three names: Tori, Toni and Totu. I remember what they all said (i’ ll block out the rude words.) “hey, do you wanna see me fully n****d on a webcam? Don’t worry i’m not shy.” then he put a link to a screenshot….i didn’t bother to click because i knew i’d be creeped out. I just think it’s weird that all 3 messages were the same. But the funny part is that I made him say sorry and never do that to anyone again. Next time this happens I will show you a screen shot of his xat number and what he said. I didn’t know how to report earlier and sorry this is such a long comment. You don’t have to approve this.

I am not sure if posting the xat chat box was appropriate as many LITTLE children go on there , and many people are swearing, cussing and weirdly trading ( or as I call it, hacking) accounts on Fantage. My child was clearly upset when going on the chat box and I unfortunately have to ban him from it. Also, the moderators don’t seem very serious about what SOME people are talking about.

Your child? You mean yourself right? You know we try as hard as possible to keep the xat box kid friendly and free of swear words? You know we are one of the most strictly enforced no-swearing chats relating to Fantage? We want the xat box to stay because it allows people to interact with each other, it’s a bridge between the viewer and the author of the blog, and personally I find it’s positive outputs overriding the negative factors.
