Mother’s Day 2014

To celebrate the wonderful mothers of our world that have supported and loved us since we were born, Fantage has created an event to celebrate Mother’s Day. The actual date of Mother’s Day is May 11, 2014. This is actually a really random event because they never make events for holidays like this, but what can we do, right? Here are activities that you can participate in this event.

Create A Card

You can create a Mother’s Day Card for your mother or motherly figure. Just go to Uptown and click the sign.

I find it quite amusing that there is a “Fantage” logo on the back of it. How meaningful 🙂

Make Origami Flowers

Fantage also will teach you the wonderful Japanese art of paper-folding. There is another sign in Uptown you can click to find instructions on how to make an origami carnation. It would’ve been nice if it was 3-D.

I don’t think you would want me to post pictures of all 19 pages of instructions…so let’s just go on with this event.

Carnation Craze

Carnation craze is a new game located in Uptown. You have to click on the sign to play it. What’s up with Fantage and signs for this event? It is a relatively easy game. Move your character using your arrow keys to collect the carnations. If arrows appear, it means that they will shoot lasers in that row or column. I advise you avoid the lasers and the arrows.

Also, the lasers kill the flowers 😦 They appear and shoot super fast, so move quickly! By the way, you can only move up, down, left, or right in this game. You get 3 lives, so watch out.

You can earn stars from playing this game and premium members get double the stars.

Gifting Items

Remember that little mystery gifting feature in the top, right corner of the screen? Well, they added new items that you can gift, but I didn’t receive any, so I don’t know what they are. That’s why they call it a mystery.

Well that is pretty much it for this event. It is mainly located (on signs) in Uptown. Remember to tell your mom that you love her, and do something special for her! Stay safe 🙂 ~Angela
