New Fashion Show

*Ok I’m going to make this post sticky for a bit, since some of you guys didn’t seem to notice it

It’s November 18, 9:30 FST… It’s FINALLY here!!

Along with the Fashion Show, there are a BUNCH of new updates, no wonder Fantage took so long!

Fantage has changed the home page again, and either they got a new (totally awesome) artist, or they’re trying a different angle

Also, check out your inventory, there is a drop down menu for color, so you can find your items easier. This is FANTASTIC for people like me who have a billion things in their inventory and have to click forever to find their items.

You can hover your mouse over the item to see the name, and you can click the green + button to quickly add it to your favorites.

Feel like some of your accessories are missing? That’s just because Fantage made separate tabs for different types of accessories, don’t worry! I feel like this is a bit of an inconvenience…

Enough about the little things, time to talk about the Fashion Show updates!!

Top Models Inc. Revamp

(For those of you who don’t know, Top Models is located on the far right of Downtown)

The entire place has been updated, it looks a lot prettier and more futuristic!

Playing a Fashion Show

There are 2 new things to take note of.

First, the Beach Fashion show has been moved from the island to the same place as the regular fashion show! If you go to the Island, you will see that the stage has disappeared.

At Top Models, click the PLAY button on the top right corner. To tell whether the fashion show is Beach Themed or Regular, just look at the part I boxed in red

The second new thing is the difficulty rating, they change depending on the type of people in the room. Once again, I boxed it in red.

 

What do they all mean?? Here is the guide.

These ratings depend on the other people playing, NOT on the difficulty levels of the theme. If you’re a newbie, most people will have more items than you, and most rounds will be hard at least. If you’re a high level user with a lot of items, the rounds will be labelled easy. The purpose of this is to make the rounds more fair, so high level users won’t win a bunch of stars for playing against newbies.

I won’t be talking about how to play, most of you already know and it’s fairly simple to understand. I will only be posting the changes made.

First round will always be single themed, and it will always be a color.

It’s a lot easier to find the right clothes, since there is the new color-picker.

I think the score board is a bit glitchy, it’s off center. Very minor though, I’m sure Fantage will fix it very soon.

They’ve added all the new emotions for posing too, making it a bit harder. Make sure to pay attention what pose they want, or you’ll miss it! I’ve noticed that sometimes, they don’t use all the emotions, I think it depends on the difficulty of your game.

And is it just me, or did they mess with the timings during posing? It feels different. Try to do it a bit earlier than the flashes, I’ve been able to get Perfects several times by doing that. If you guys are still having trouble, I might post a video.

Winners username AND avatar will be posted on the big screen (it used to be just the username)

Hosting a Fashion Show

Same thing as joining a Fashion Show, just click the PLAY button on the top right corner, then click the big orange button.

You get to pick whether you want Top Models (regular) or Beach themed.

The rest is self-explanatory and the same as before, just choose the theme for the first 2 rounds. It looks like they’ve got rid of a lot of the non-color themes. Good riddance, I’ve always hated the Psychedelic and Preppy theme…

Medals

The Top Model’s medal (Premium) and the Beach Fashion show (Premium and Nonmembers) are still there, and will level up depending on which themed show you join. Remember that, for the Top Model’s medal, you can check how many points you need to get to the next level by hovering your mouse over it in the medals section of your ID Fone.

There’s the new Fashion Show Theme medal too, and can you believe it? It’s for nonmembers too! You can gain levels from this each time you play, whether it’s regular themed or beach themed.

According to the Medal Guide, you get 1 level each time you win a theme. I think you will only get the level if you win at the very end after the third round, NOT just one round.

Hover your mouse over the medal on the medals page of your ID Fone to see which themes you need left!
