Update 6/5/13: I just got the same exact email under another address; clearly they had to create a new one because everyone knew they were liars. Their mistake was sending it to me again -_- The email is free4fantagestuff@gmail.com. Although their email this time seemed a lot more convincing, DO NOT tell them your account info!!!

Some of you may have gotten an email from freefantage1000@gmail.com, about “free” items. Here is a screenshot:
I gave them a newbie account. This is what I replied:
So yeah, you can guess what happened. I didn’t get my items, nor did I expect to get my items.
If you received this email, DO NOT respond your account information. I don’t know how many people they have tricked so far, but let’s make sure they don’t trick any more.

I never said that, I just meant maybe you shouldn’t say things like “you have up to one week to give me the items, or I will still post about you. Good luck with that.” or “If I don’t receive the items, then I’m gonna warn everyone about you on my blog (btw it gets over 2,000 hits every day) and you won’t get a single Fantage account from this again.”
And they did say to give you your fake account anyway. ._.

Another one? For the first email you posted. The free4fantagestuff@gmail.com one. The grammar is incorrect. They capitalized words like I don’t know the word at the moment. Fantage has like perfect grammar. AND. When fantage send you an email. It’s not _______@gmail or hotmail or yahoo. The email will be like this: ____________@fantage.com Thats how I tell if its a scam or not! People with the emails and the scams and stuff. It’s probably the same people. Or. When someone saw this post. It just leads another person to do this. And another and another. Then Fantage will be filled with scams.

free4fantagestuff@gmail.com has REALLY bad grammar–half the time, I couldn’t understand what the heck they were talking about. And, sometimes, saying “we are NOT a scam” makes it seem more like you ARE.
Though I haven’t received the email, I’m sure savin’ people’s lives here, princess_moomoo! 🙂

moomoo this isn’t a comment about the scams but PLZ keep reading. can u make a post about the vintage shop and could you ask everyone to ask fantage to bring it back cuz they probably would if a lot of people did this. I asked fantage to at least keep it in the French and dutch servers so we can go there and buy stuff and still have the trade and sell (some of the prices there are unbelievable) and it would really mean a lot if you asked everyone to do the same

Actually, I personally think that bringing back the Vintage Shop is a bad idea. The items that are sold there will become worthless, because everyone will be able to buy them. It’s like a permanent “Fantage Sold Items” event, when peabody and M sells things.
I like trade n sell, because I am able to get a lot of items that I would never have been able to get as a non. Most people think negatively toward Trade n Sell because they got scammed, but really, that’s their own fault, not Fantage’s.
