We are currently not looking for mods, but will be on the lookout for a possible candidate if we are in need of one in the future.
Here are the qualities I (princess_moomoo) look for in a good mod:
- Online for at least an hour every day
- Respectful and kind towards everyone on the chat
- Acts maturely
- Contributes and participates on the main chat
- Wants to become moderator solely to help us make the chat safe, NOT to gain a superior position and/or to gain “power”
- NEVER asks/bugs/pesters to become mod
- Retains other positive characteristics (trustworthy, dependable, likeable, etc)
Notes from Angela: I believe that we must get to know a person better before making them a mod. That means you can’t just be a good for a day and wait for us to make you a mod. I will be looking at long-term activities that people participate in the chat. I personally will want to know exactly how you are like in any situation before I make you a mod. I will not choose quickly and easily. And I personally believe anyone who asks, in any direct or indirect way, to become a moderator DOES NOT deserve to become a moderator. I choose to be this way because my parents once told me, “You don’t know who a real friend is until you are in a time of crisis and your friend chooses to help you over choosing to gain for themselves,” or something like that.
Note that the ideal mod has ALL of these qualities, not just a few.

I wish I had mods from Britain or other eastern hemisphere, but it seems like we don’t have many xat visitors from that side of the world.

Hi! I didn’t ask to be a mod, but I asked how to earn it.. is that okay? (; I’m not from that side of the world, but I really can’t help that. I’m on for at least an hour a day, the reason I want to be moderator is so I can stop people who are cussing.. It really bothers me when they get such filthy mouths sometimes.. xP! It’s okay if I’m not one though, I like fantageville and thats all that matters. But what to do you by “gain power”? I was/am a bit confuzzled.. (Ashla’s word for confused and puzzled! xD)

Gaining power, meaning bullying other users by kicking/banning them excessively, acting all snobby/braggy, etc.

I suggest you get some mods who live in Australia, because usually, when you’re all asleep or at school (if you live in America) then Australians are awake, and it’s our afternoon <– most Australians are on this time, and you should get a mod from Australia to make sure these people don't break the rules.

Yeah, but I don’t want to make another one, we have so many already. And it’s hard, east hemisphere people are rare, and nice, non-ruling breaking ones are even rarer.

Actually, it’s because of our views stats. Most people that visit our blog come from the western hemisphere, the only other countries that have a slightly significant amount of views are Britain, India, and Australia.

Er no I removed it, that’s what I do for all comments requesting to be mod.
I know, I’ve known you for a long time dream, but that doesn’t mean you get to automatically be mod, because I’ve known a lot of other people for a long time too. Besides, knowing me isn’t even on the list on this page.
We make people mods when we see they’re modest and they don’t ask, so yeah.

Hi Princess_Moomoo! Im Alex! I come on you’re xat chat and blog every day and I am a fan. I just wanted to say that I agree with you that you do not need any more mods at the time because you have plenty now. Also, Minh still comes on now so if people look at the moderator page, they should see that you already have plenty of mods and shouldn’t ask for mod. Thanks! Please reply when you get the chance!

Hi moomoo, Hi casey, I would like to contribute to the many comments posted that your blog is amazing and I don’t know what I would do without it. The xat chat to keep me busy all day chatting with my friends and lots of really nice people, the weekly posts to keep me caught up with every event and anything new going on fantage, and the HILARIOUS memes to keep me laughing as well. Without Fantageville I would be bored all the time with nothing to do, no one to talk to. You guys are doing a great job with the blog. Keep up the great work! If anything happened to this blog I would be seriously devastated. Well I hope to see more enjoyable posts! I also agree that a guest should earn their way up to becoming a mod.

You know how people where saying “You need more moderators!!!” and then you add a bot? I’ve noticed that it’s some of the same people that are now hating on the bot for banning people and things when they where earlier complaining about how we need more mods to ban people. It’s so obvious that they’re only saying that you need more mods because they want to a mod their self.

Dear MooMoo/Angela, can you please un-ban me? I foolishly mazebanned myself for 1,000 hours. (8 weeks) The hours have already passed. So it’s been 3 weeks since the mazeban has ended, and I’m still banned. I feel terrible, I love this site. My birthday is April 2nd, and while I’ posting this comment/question, It’s March 29th. I was wondering if you can pleeaaaase un-ban me at least before Easter starts. I love Fantageville, and Fantage is a very good game. I promise I will never do the crap I did in the first place I did to get into this mess. Please, forgive me…. 😥
